This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Fingerprinting Map Builder (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by the GRXCA research group (UPC). The Application is a network tool for building fingerprinting maps easily. This application is addressed mainly to researchers, but it can be used by anyone.
User Provided Information
The Application does not require the user providing any kind of personal information.
This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device, but it records fingerprints of the signal transmisters at sight.
The applications stores all data locally. It provides the option to transfer these data to a remote server owned by the user as well. Transfers are not automatic, but they have to be explicitely requested by users each time they are run.
You can stop using the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. You can check the history of this policy by clicking here.
